Issue Status: MONITORING

Microsoft Reference: #‎2506130050001302

Microsoft Service Degradation Reference: MO1093654

Issue Description: We are aware of an issue whereby some users are experiencing issues with setting up MFA on NHS.net accounts. Some users may receive a “we’re sorry, we ran into a problem” or “No methods available” error.

Final Update:13/06/2025 17:00PM – Following a period of extended monitoring with no tickets raised and confirmation from multiple sources that all is working as expected, this issue is now  considered resolved. Microsoft confirmed that the increased latency and timeouts on some MFA requests were the result of an infrastructure update that had previously been made. As part of their mitigation efforts, a fix was rolled out to restore normal performance. The fix completed earlier this afternoon and monitoring suggests the service is back to normal and customers are able to manage and register authentication methods in the usual way.

If you require additional help and support, the NHS.net Connect helpdesk is available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week on 0333 200 1133 or by emailing [email protected].
